New Container Terminal in Kazakhstan Gains Momentum Thanks to Major Delivery
In an impressive logistics maneuver, our company has managed a comprehensive equipment delivery to a brand-new container terminal in Kazakhstan. This delivery marks a significant milestone in the infrastructure development in the region and highlights our capabilities in comprehensive project management.
Scope of the Delivery
The centerpiece of the delivery consisted of two state-of-the-art container cranes: one RMG (Rail Mounted Gantry) and one RTG (Rubber Tyred Gantry). These cranes are essential for the efficient handling of container loads and enable quick loading and unloading.
The delivery was complemented by four CVS Ferrari Reach-Stackers, specifically designed for the transport of loaded containers. These devices are known for their robustness and reliability, making them an ideal choice for handling heavy loads.
Additionally, our delivery included four 16-ton forklifts and four terminal tractors also from CVS Ferrari, along with container chassis. Not to forget, the eight smaller forklifts from Clark, which provide versatile operational capabilities within the terminal. These smaller units are flexible and agile, ideal for transporting smaller loads over shorter distances.
Our Role and Services
From initial consulting to quality control and monitoring of production, to compliance with delivery times—our team was involved in every step. The export handling, including all necessary documentation and approvals, was seamlessly managed by us.
The logistical challenge of safely transporting such heavy and bulky equipment to Kazakhstan was mastered thanks to our experienced logistics team. Upon arrival at the terminal, our technicians took over the assembly and commissioning of the equipment to ensure everything operates at the highest standards.
However, our service does not end with the commissioning. Our commitment to the terminal continues with regular maintenance and rapid delivery of spare parts to ensure maximum availability.
